Swiftaid and GoodBox solution for UK charities

On the 21st November 2020 we turned off functionality for contactless Gift Aid to make way for a better solution.

This new solution will offer the potential for greater benefits that include:

⏳ Retrospective Gift Aid
A donor has 4 years to sign up after making a donation. They no longer need to sign up before hand.

🚀 Simple signup
Donors will be automatically enrolled for contactless Gift Aid when they sign up through other Swiftaid integrators.

📊 Unified reporting
All-in-one reporting for donations and Gift Aid within your GoodBox dashboard.

Due to COVID-19 this update has taken much longer than we first anticipated, meaning an extended period of time where GoodBox terminals are not able to process Gift Aid using Swiftaid.

We are waiting for Goodbox to implement changes on their end and have been told that this may take until Q4 (Oct-Dec) this year.
